Director of Information Technology - BFAIR - Berkshire County

The Director of IT at BFAIR, a mission-driven nonprofit, is responsible for leading the strategic and operational management of the organization’s technology infrastructure. This role ensures that IT systems support high-quality service delivery, protect sensitive phi data, and enable staff to work efficiently and securely. The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and a deep understanding of the human service landscape.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred)., 5+ years of progressive IT experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role within a nonprofit setting.  Strong knowledge of various IT systems, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance.  Experience with EHR systems (e.g.,Icentrix or Ehana) and nonprofit platforms.  Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.  Passion for improving community services and advancing health equity through technology.  Ability to complete all initial and ongoing background checks including but not limited to: CORI, SORI, Fingerprinting, LEIE, Driving record, E-verify, Physical, PPD and licensing and/or certification checks (i.e., nursing). Valid US driver’s license and ready access to a vehicle.
