Residential Counselor - MOLARI Employment & HealthCare Services - Housatonic

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to provide direct care and support to individuals with special needs for a South County residential school. This role involves assisting residents with daily living activities while promoting their rights, dignity, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care assistance, including personal care and daily living activities.
• Support individuals in developing communication, social, and relationship-building skills.
• Implement behavioral interventions as needed.
• Maintain accurate data and records.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment regardless of holidays or weather conditions.
• Assist with physical tasks such as lifting (up to 50 pounds), standing for extended periods, and bending/pushing/pulling more than 50 pounds.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with individuals with special needs preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license from MA, CT, or NY.
