Accounting and Payroll Specialist

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting & Payroll Specialist to support their operations and work closely with their Financial Controller. If you’re looking for a dynamic role in a growing industry where your contributions truly matter, this is the opportunity for you! This is a Direct Hire position with an anticipated salary of $52K

What You’ll Do
Accounting Responsibilities:
  • Process accounts payable and ensure timely vendor payments.
  • Manage accounts receivable, including customer payment applications.
  • Assist with tax payments and filings to ensure compliance.
  • Handle clerical duties like matching invoices to payments and maintaining financial records.
Payroll Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and process weekly payroll with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support the employee onboarding process.
  • Assist in benefit tracking and administration to support our team.
  • Maintain vacation and PTO tracking schedules for employees.
What We’re Looking For
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
  • Finance & Payroll Background: 2-5 years of experience preferred.
  • Organized & Detail-Oriented: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Discretion & Professionalism: Experience handling confidential information.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based software platforms.
  • Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills with a proactive mindset.
  • Personality: Outgoing, reliable, and a great team player!
