The Employee Engagement Coordinator will work as part of the Human Resources department providing administrative support, leading employee engagement initiatives, and supporting community events. This role will work as part of a team to foster a positive workplace culture and strive to create meaningful opportunities for community connection. 

Working closely with the Director of Human Resources and the Human Resources and Payroll Specialist, this role will play an active part in providing a welcoming and meaningful onboarding experience for all new hires while supporting our current staff throughout their employment lifecycle. This role will be responsible for maintenance of our HRIS systems and relevant employee files and other Human Resources recordkeeping and tracking requirements.
 

This role will provide coverage to our reception area on Fridays. It will also provide daily lunch coverage and additional coverage for vacations and other scheduled time away.

Compensation will be based on experience.

  • Associate degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years direct experience in an office environment or other fast paced, multi priority environment. 
  • Outgoing and friendly.
  • Detailed-oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Products and Adobe.
  • Prior HRIS experience a plus!
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Comfortable having sensitive conversations and working directly with staff at all levels. 
  • Ability to self-manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collectively, with other members of the team.
