Position Summary
As a driver in our Visitor Services department, you’ll be a front-line ambassador, welcoming and transporting visitors to explore the Clark’s world-renowned collection. Drivers are a fundamental component of our Institute and assist all our stakeholders by providing access to and from our campus. Responsibilities include transporting guests and staff, providing a welcoming environment on the bus by focusing on hospitality, wayfinding, and information. Flexibility, a positive attitude, and exceptional people skills are essential qualifications.
Candidates with the greatest availability will be given preference. This position requires working weekends and holidays.
Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Transport staff and visitors to and from predetermined locations on a pre-established schedule.
- Provide on-call transportation as needed.
- Make stops at designated locations to pick up and let off passengers.
- Assist passengers as needed with embarking and disembarking.
- Inspect shuttle to ensure that it is in a clean and operable condition.
- Answer questions and provide information as needed in a polite and gracious manner.
- Communicate with and update supervisors regularly.
- Record data for tracking and trending.
- Other duties as assigned.
