Shipping Clerk- First Shift - Berkshire Precision Tool, LLC - Pittsfield

Berkshire Precision Tool, LLC, a leading supplier of American-made, industrial cutting tools, is seeking a Shipping Clerk for our production facility located in Pittsfield, MA. This person will be responsible for set-up and operation of production machinery. 

This is a full-time position. The hours for this position will be 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The starting pay for this position will be $17.00 per hour. For experienced shipping clerks, starting pay will be commensurate with experience.

  Responsibilities for Shipping Clerk

• Receiving incoming stock and materials
• Entering inventory into tracking system
• Pulling stock according to work orders
• Preparation for shipment of products
• Maintain a clean work area

Qualifications for Shipping Clerk

• High School Diploma or GED
• Good computer knowledge
• Must be detail-oriented with a good work ethic
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to work in a team
