Mount Greylock Regional School, a highly ranked school for grades 7 through 12 located in Williamstown, Massachusetts, seeks to fill a long-term sub position for a 1.0 FTE Spanish teacher position. The department seeks to appoint a teacher in support of a dynamic college prep curriculum. The successful candidate will possess strong content knowledge in Spanish and be an innovative educator with excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated organizational ability, engaging instructional approaches, and a passion and enthusiasm for working with adolescents. The applicant should have a comfort level for teaching Level I Spanish as well as Honors Level IV. This long-term sub position is temporary in nature to cover an anticipated long-term absence of a permanent full-time faculty member and will be paid at the per-diem long-term sub rate established by the Mount Greylock Regional School Committee. MA DESE Teaching Certification in Foreign Language - Spanish, 5-12 strongly preferred. All offers of employment with Mount Greylock Regional School District are contingent upon satisfactory completion of the employment screening process to include SAFIS CHRI Federal and CORI (State) background check reports. At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred Master degree preferred Citizenship, residency or work visa required |
