We have flexible opportunities for the right individual! UCP has traditional full time 37.5 hour schedules as well as part time work for people wanting 4-30 hours per week. Direct care work available all throughout Berkshire County.

Are you an experienced direct care worker looking for rewarding work with children or adults with disabilities in the community? As a Family Support Advocate you will be responsible for providing respite support to children and adults, including providing assistance with social networking, recreational activities, community safety, health care issues, and physical and behavioral challenges through direct care work. Some afternoon and evening hours may be required.

High School Diploma or equivalent GED
Minimum of one-year successful experience in a human service field or six months successful experience in a human service field and having life or work experience with individuals with disabilities
At least 18 years of age
Valid driver’s license, availability of private vehicle, up-to-date car insurance and proof of annual vehicle inspection
Ability to work flexible hours in order to accommodate the needs of members
Satisfactory CORI, SORI and National Fingerprint Check
A negative Mantoux TB test or a clear chest x-ray
