Sampco is hiring.  We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to join our warehouse team.  The position is responsible for operating a variety of equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Job Functions:

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Setup and operate a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
    • Machines include but are not limited to: Seybold cutter, Thermatron, Clam Shell, Clicker Cutter and CNC Router
  • Adjust machine setting to complete tasks according to specification, accurately and in a timely fashion.
  • Moves raw material to and from production areas as necessary.
  • May be assigned to different workstations as production needs require or shift from one station to another to reduce fatigue factor.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents and respond to questions.
  • Must be organized, self-motivated, detail/safety-oriented individual with the ability to multi-task and follow instructions.
  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Works under immediate supervision.
  • Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.

 Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand and/or walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds.
