Description:
The Berkshire Family YMCA is looking to hire for its supervised visitation program. The ideal candidate is professional and objective, have strong writing and communication skills, and is patient and reliable. Candidates must be flexible and may be scheduled for shifts in the afternoons or early evenings on the weekdays or weekends, likely in the 1-7 p.m. time frame. Confidentiality is a must.

This position could require transportation of children to and from a visit. Reliable transportation is a must.

Shifts Available - Saturday 9-4:30

Essential Functions

Facilitates supervised family time assigned by Program Director and Program Manager.

Models relationship building skills in all interactions.

Develops and maintains professional relationships and models professional boundaries with families.

Transports children before and after family time if needed.

Documents family time for participating families in an unbiased manner.

Ability to uphold confidentiality in a multitude of environments.

Attend all staff meetings and in-service training

All other duties assigned by management
Requirements:
1-3 years in human service or related field.
Reliable transportation
CPR/FA will be required upon hire
DCF/CORI/ SORI Background Check required upon hire.
