Job Description: The MCLA Department of History and Political Science seeks applications for a part-time faculty member to teach Political Science courses in the Fall of 2024. Courses include an introductory course titled U.S. Government (meeting on campus Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00-10:50) and an upper-level course on U.S. politics in the applicant's area of expertise (meeting on campus Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30-3:45). Applicants can apply to teach one or both of these courses. The adjunct position is for one semester, with an opportunity for renewal.
Job Requirements:- Experience commensurate with course topics.
- Master's degree or higher in a related field is strongly preferred.
- Previous teaching experience at the college level is strongly preferred.
