Some High School Coursework

Dalton client seeks a full time Tig Welder for their shop. This is a Monday through Thursday, 6:00am- 4:30pm position. Looking for minimum of 6 months experience reading blueprints and drawings and taking measurements to plan layout and procedures as well as setting up components for welding according to job specifications. 

Skills and Abilities needed for Welders: 

  • Proven experience as welder (6 mo. min) 
  • Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures 
  • Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
  • Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)

Selected candidates must be able to pass a preemployment criminal background and drug screen.
