Qualifications & Skills • Proven leadership experience, preferably in a nonprofit or community-based organization. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. • Financial literacy, including budgeting, fundraising, and financial management. • Demonstrated ability to engage and collaborate with diverse community stakeholders. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Experience in strategic planning and implementation. - Preference: Required

The Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership, administration, programs, and strategic direction of the organization. This role requires a dynamic leader who can effectively engage the community, manage finances, oversee operations, and foster a strong organizational culture. The Executive Director reports directly to the Board of Directors.

Leadership & Organizational Management

  • Provide strategic leadership to ensure alignment with the organization's mission and goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure effective communication with the Board, providing timely and accurate information for decision-making.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring policies and procedures are effectively implemented.

Financial Management & Fundraising

  • Maintain fiscal integrity, including budget preparation and financial reporting to the Board.
  • Develop and implement sound financial strategies to sustain and grow the organization.
  • Oversee fundraising efforts, grant writing, donor relations, and other revenue-generating initiatives.

Community Engagement & Outreach

Leadership & Organizational Management

  • Enhance the organization's image by actively engaging with the local community and key stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, businesses, and government entities.
  • Serve as the primary spokesperson, advocating for the organization's mission and initiatives.

Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee marketing, public relations, and communication strategies.
  • Manage hiring, training, and performance evaluation of staff, ensuring a high-performing team.
  • Administer payroll and human resources functions in line with organizational policies.
