The college is pleased to announce an opening for a Late-Night Assistant Manager. Reporting to the Sr. Operations Manager of Paresky Dining, the position will oversee and manage the dining needs of students, faculty and community members at 82 Grill, Whitman Late Night, and Lee After Dark. Required hours will be from 3:30 pm – 12:00 am and include weekends. This schedule may vary based on department needs. The Late-Night Manager will oversee and work alongside the evening leads and supervisor to mentor them. They will address issues that arise, make menu changes for out of stock items, and coordinate late-night staff communications. They will be responsible for organizing a rotating schedule for employees to become familiar with each detail and operation of their late-night unit, providing proficiency in all staff being trained in all areas.
Complexities of the role will entail assuming responsibility for changes in daily operations and the ability to communicate them to staff. A high degree of organizational skill is necessary to manage and coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment. Meeting tight deadlines, the ability to plan and act quickly to ensure customer satisfaction, and independent decision making are essential.
