Tuesday 8a-3:30p, Wednesday 8a-4p, Thursday 8a-3:30p, Friday 8a-3:30p, Saturday 7:30a-3:30p.

BFAIR has rewarding job openings for  CBDS Specialist.  Join a premier human service organization and help change the lives of individuals served.   Support 1-9 individuals with Developmental Disabilities community-based day program and in our Redemption Center.

Duties include:

  • Develop rapport with individuals supported and foster their personal growth striving to obtain their goals
  • Assist with skills training as prescribed in each member’s service plan
  • Assist individuals to access a variety of volunteer and recreational opportunities in their surrounding community

Skills/Abilities:

  • Patience
  • Effective communication skills
  • Passion for helping others

Qualifications:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Valid US driver's license and ready access to a vehicle
  • HS Diploma/GED or one year experience
  • Complete all initial background checks
  • Complete pre-employment TB test

Min of 18 years of age. High School Diploma/GED or one year experience in a related field, must possess basic math (addition/subtraction) skills, ability to read & write, communicate effectively both verbally and written, ability to multi-task and exercise good judgement. Ability to complete all initial and ongoing background checks including but not limited to: CORI, SORI, Fingerprinting, LEIE, Driving record, E-verify, Physical, PPD and licensing and/or certification checks (i.e. nursing)
