Role Description
This is a full-time role for an outside Salesperson at Southside Sales & Service / Bobcat Northern Berkshires. The Salesperson will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including generating leads, prospecting potential customers, presenting and demonstrating products, negotiating sales contracts, and maintaining customer relationships. This role is primarily located "on road" in Berkshire County MA and surrounding areas. Dealership location North Adams MA.
Responsibilities
Present and sell company products such as compact excavators, skid steer loaders, track loaders, compact tractors, and lawn mowers and services to new and existing customers
Prospect and contact potential customers
Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
Create sales material to present to customers
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proven sales experience and ability to meet sales targets
Knowledge of compact construction equipment, lawn and garden equipment, farm equipment, and services
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers
Self-motivated and goal-oriented
Proficient computer skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, approved driving record.
Technical knowledge in equipment maintenance and repairs is a plus
Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
Ability to build rapport with clients
Strong negotiation skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
