Reporting to the Senior Director of Grants and Philanthropy, the Annual Giving Coordinator acts as the primary donor database manager, providing comprehensive and essential support for Community Health Programs’ fundraising department. This person will support CHP’s mission, vision, and values and will adhere to compliance protocols as well as CHP’s policies and procedures.

Annul Giving Coordinator Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage fundraising database, including data maintenance, gift entry, campaign, and solicitation coding, etc.
  • Generate and mail gift acknowledgements and tracks thank you activities assigned to the Board and CEO.
  • Produce accurate segmented lists for fundraising appeals and fundraising reports for internal communications.
  • Conduct prospect research, prepare prospect briefs, coordinate donor and prospect meetings.
  • Utilize donor database to conduct research, produce lists and segmentation, monitor campaign progress, produce reports, and conduct donor stewardship.
  • Coordinate the production of appeal and solicitation documents and deliveries, generate and mail gift acknowledgements.
  • Provide support for capital campaign implementation and tracking.
  • Work closely with Development and Special Projects Manager for support with research, lists and segmentation, data entry, campaign progress, reports, and donor stewardship.
  • Acquire and retain thorough knowledge of CHP and use that knowledge and understanding to inform ongoing grant portfolio development.
  • Acquire a general understanding of the healthcare industry, federally qualified healthcare centers (FQHC), and relevant policy and trends affecting the community healthcare landscape.

 

Competencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Demonstrable experience implementing annual fundraising strategies.
  • Familiarity with donor research databases and systems.
  • Proficiency with donor database systems management and navigation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with donor research databases and systems.
  • Experience with generating mailings and related communications.

Experience/Education:

  • 2-3 years of experience required. A combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Demonstrable success with gift solicitation and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
