Telehealth Clinician

Full-Time, Weekdays, 9 AM to 5 PM. Fully-remote!

Essential Job Functions:

  • Adheres to all applicable state and federal regulations; ensures compliance with the organization’s policies and procedures, code of conduct, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Completes diagnostic mental health/substance use disorder assessment and provides psychotherapy and support to individuals using virtual tele-health platforms.
  • Complies with Brien Center "Work from Home Policy" by maintaining required administrative/clinical supervision, use of video tele-health (i.e., audio only is not permitted), and timely completion of documentation in electronic health record.
  • Attend staff meeting and trainings at Brien Center outpatient site via telehealth platform or in person, based on direct supervisor’s discretion. 
  • Maintain client records, completing all necessary paperwork within 24 hours of a session. 
  • Plan and implement treatment collaboratively with client and coordinate treatment with collateral agents. Including but not limited to DCF (Department of Children and Families), DMH (Department of Mental Health), DDS (Department of Developmental Disabilities), Probation.   • Utilizes interventions and treatments that are evidence-based approaches from an approved list of treatment modalities and includes individual and group approaches.
  • Utilizes collaborative documentation practices. 
  • Follows centralized scheduling guidelines.

Qualifications, Experience and Education:

  • Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or psychology. License eligible.
  • LCSW, LICSW, LMHC required within 6 months of eligibility date.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience providing individual and group therapy.
  • Strong knowledge of computers.
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport with patients in a virtual setting.
  • Ability to navigate within platforms necessary to perform job duties, including but not limited to electronic mail, videotelephony software, and internal electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Exceptional knowledge of evidenced based practices for treatment of mental health and substance abuse.
  • Ability to maintain the required productivity level.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgement.
  • Ability to conduct all therapy sessions in a HIPPA compliant space to ensure confidentiality.
