Storeroom Purchasing Coordinator-Berkshire Medical Center, Dietary Service, Shift: Days, 40hrs

Responsible for managing the acquisition and distribution of products, parts, services, and commodities (PPSC) for nutrition and food service.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• 5:30am-2:00pm
• Rotating Holiday
• Rotating Weekends

Experience

• A minimum of one years' experience in foodservice operations.

Education

• Body of knowledge associated with high school diploma is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on customer service.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to perform detailed analysis.
• Some additional specialized coursework such as inventory control, material transportation, logistics, basic business/accounting courses and communications.

License & Certifications

• Drivers License.

• Strong computer skills with Microsoft office, periodically maintain professional growth and development through seminars, workshops and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.
