    • This position is responsible for numerous high level administrative and financial duties critical to the operational management of up to eleven departmental programs and or services. S/he works closely with the Administrative Director and Chairman of Psychiatry to develop, maintain, and evaluate key operational functions and data collection and works to continually improve them to maximize efficiencies and revenue opportunties across the scope of departmental services. This position is responsible for administrative and financial management of numerous collaborative and/or grant related agreements critical to the success of departmental goals and objectives. S/he must possess flexibility, attention to detail, and independent problem solving and is required to communicate problems or issues in a timely manner to the approrpriate senior team member. S/he must work to ensure all responsibilities are exercised with diligence, care, and integrity. S/he may be called upon to provide cross coverage, when necessary. S/he is required to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)

    • Experience:
      • 5 years behavioral health acute care or physician office administrative experience required.
      • Behavioral health billing and charge entry experience, CPT coding, required.
      • Computer/data entry experience preferred.
      • Scheduling experience preferred.
    • Education and Training:
      • High school diploma required.
      • Associates Degree in Business preferred.
      • Medical Terminology preferred.
      • Computer/data entry skills required.
      • Advanced business or financial coursework required. Relevant experience may be used in lieu of this requirement.
    • License, Certification & Registration:
      • None
    • Other Requirements:
      • Strong organizational skills.
      • Excellent verbal, written, communication, and analytical skills.
      • Excellent interpersonal skills with sensitivity to patient issues, including highest respect for patient confidentiality.
      • Knowledge of Meditech and Allscripts system preferred.
      • Knowledge of ICD-10 codes, preferred.
      • Knowledge of commercial behavioral carve-outs, CMS, and Medicaid billing required.
