Responsibilities and Requirements

• Primary Function
  • Assists therapists in providing treatment with a wide variety of illnesses and disabilities to help patients achieve a maximum level of independence
  • Performs assigned tasks in areas of direct and non-direct patient care
  • All patient care responsibilities are under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist or therapist assistant
• Position Qualifications
  • Experience
    • Ability to comprehend, speak and write the English language
    • Knowledge in medical terminology required.
  • Education and Training
    • HS graduate or equivalent.
  • License, Certification & Registration
    • CPR
• Other Requirements
  • Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prostheses that will enable these senses to function adequately so the requirements of the position can be fully met
  • Ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and other health care providers required
  • Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple job tasks on a daily basis to meet the needs of the department required
