Recovery Specialist II – Part Time – Day Shift

*This is an every other weekend commitment.

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Primary Function
    • Oversees and accompanies clients in various program activities to ensure conformance with schedules, milieu standards, program activities and policies
    • Complete required paperwork and conduct small and large therapy sessions under the supervision of the Senior Clinician.
    • Assist the Recovery Specialist I role when needed.
  • Position Qualifications
    • Experience
      • A year of substance use treatment experience in a mental health or substance use environment is preferred
      • Other relevant experience will be considered
    • Education and Training
      • An Associate’s Degree in Health and Human Service or closely related field is required, a Bachelors Degree is preferred
    • License, Certification & Registration
      • CPR within three months of hire
      • ACE - Addiction Counselor Education (ACE) or Associates Degree required
