For over 100 years, the Berkshire Visiting Nurse Association (BVNA) has been providing comprehensive, compassionate, skilled care in the comfort and privacy of patients’ homes. Our team of skilled nurses; physical, speech, and occupational therapists; medical social workers; and certified home health aides deliver the highest quality health care, allowing patients to recover from an illness or hospitalization at home. As part of Berkshire Health Systems’ continuum of care, the BVNA coordinates with a patient’s providers to ensure that they are receiving the right care for their individualized needs. From infants to elders, the BVNA cares for patients of all ages.

The Clinical Manager will direct, coordinate and evaluate the delivery of home health services to a team of patients ensuring compliance with agency policy, and State and Federal home health regulations. Monitors attainment of the objectives of the team activities.

  • POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
    • Experience:
      • Two years of community health experience in a Medicare certified agency.
      • Demonstrated clinical competency and current knowledge of the principles and practices of home care.
      • Healthcare management experience preferred.
      • Demonstrated familiarity with DPH and Joint Commission regulatory standards preferred.
      • Demonstrated coaching/team building skills required.
    • Education and Training:
      • Associate's Degree in Nursing or DPT, PT, OT SLP from an accredited program required.
      • BSN in nursing preferred.
    • License, Certification & Registration:
      • RN/Rehab- Licensed as an RN, OT, PT, ST in MA.
      • OASIS - OASIS Certification within first two years in the position.
    • Other Requirements:
      • Ability to exercise independent judgement.
      • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability.
      • Ability to supervise, coach and mentor and motivate others.
      • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
      • Ability to be flexible regarding working hours.
      • Knowledge of community resources.
      • Must possess a valid, current MA driver's license and be able to drive in inclement weather.
      • Exemplifies Customer Service Standards.
      • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to handle conflict required.
      • Demonstrated flexibility both in thought process and in time availability.
