Berkshire Health Systems is looking for a caring LPN to join BMC Urological Services!

  • Full time: 40 hours/week - 8am-4:30pm
  • Full benefits: medical, dental, and more!
  • No weekends
  • No holidays
  • No on call

As an LPN at BMC Urology, you will coordinate team-based care to provide health services to individuals, through effective partnerships with patients, their caregivers/families, community resources and their physician. The LPN facilitates a "shared goal model" within and across setting to achieve coordinated high quality preventive care that is patient and family-centered.

The Licensed Practical Nurse supports the nursing process and functions under the direction of the Medical Director, Nurse Practitioner and/or Professional Registered Nurse.

    This position may need to be travel to all three locations for Urology (Pittsfield, North Adams, and Great Barrington).

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)

  • Experience:
    • Clinical and administrative experience in a physician office setting preferred.
  • Education and Training:
    • Must be a graduate of an LPN course given by an accredited school.
  • License, Certification & Registration:
    • LPN - Licensed Practical Nurses
    • CPR
  • Other Requirements:
    • Proficiency in Windows-based computer skills required.
    • Excellent customer service skills a must.
    • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting required.
    • High level of attention to detail, prioritization, organization, and multi-tasking a must.
    • Ability to effectively and respectfully communicate with patients and co-workers orally or in written format required.
    • Meets continuing education requirements in accordance with state licensing regulations
