• Full time: 40 hours/week - 8am-4:30pm

The Licensed Practical Nurse supports the nursing process and functions under the direction of the Medical Director, Nurse Practitioner and/or Professional Registered Nurse.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)

• Experience:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
  • Has a thorough knowledge of nursing principles and procedures.
  • Experience in handling multiple telephone lines and excellent clerical/organizational skills required.
  • Physician office experience preferred.
• Education and Training:
  • Must be a graduate of an LPN course given by an accredited school.
• License, Certification & Registration:
  • LPN - Licensed Practical Nurses
  • CPR
• Other Requirements:
  • Demonstrates continuing education in accordance with State regulation.
  • Data entry skills preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Windows and PC applications required.
  • Ability to work independently and take direction.
  • Self-motivated and has the ability to be independent and flexible in a team framework.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to handle confidential and sensitve information.
