General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Quality Associate.  This position provides an opportunity to further advance the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation’s core defense/intelligence services and systems.  General Dynamics Mission Systems employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:

  • Understands and complies with all security protocols for data handling
  • Generates electronic files to support testing activities
  • Communicates with stakeholders for status of tasking
  • Maintains detailed logs to track file status
  • Interfaces with supplier and customer to provide results
  • Compiles and organizes data to ensure proper flow 
  • Security clearance is required


KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to understand and comply with security requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
    Diligence with details
  • Highly organized
  • Ability to work independently

 

High School diploma or the equivalent is required. Associate’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, and Mechanical engineering is preferred. In addition, a minimum of 2 years of directly related experience is required. J-STD_001, 002, IPC 610, MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-750 and X-Ray qualification certifications may be required.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
