REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:

Utilizes software configuration management tools to support delivery of both internally developed and externally acquired software products
Under supervision compiles and assembles software from source code
Assists in the preparation of Software Change Control Board meetings and may support Systems Change Control Board meetings
Under supervision executes build procedures that are used to support software product development, Integration testing as well the product baseline for formal test and delivery
Tracks and reports on Third Party Software products and licensing usage
Supports others to complete analysis, evaluations and design alternatives and to implement process improvements
Works with senior staff or development engineers to correct build errors
Frequent contact with employees and managers within the department and development groups
Some contact with management outside of the department
Some customer contact

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Good time management skills
Proficient in the use of all MS Office Suite applications
Basic knowledge of Software Configuration Management Applications
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Good attention to detail
Good ability to work with large datasets
Good multi-tasking skills
Security clearance may be required
Works under normal supervision
Follows established directions
Work is reviewed for accuracy and overall adequacy
Grasps and applies new information quickly


PREFERRED DEGREE TYPES AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors Degree in technology, industrial engineering, information systems, data science or business administration (preferred)
Working with Sharepoint (preferred)
Working knowledge of databases IBM Change, Rational Team Concert (RTC), Windchill lifecycle management tools (preferred)

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience).




CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
