GDMS has an immediate opening for a Chief Engineer in the command, control, and security business to join our team based in Pittsfield MA. Our employees work closely with our customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high consequence physical security missions. The selected candidate will lead definition of technical strategies, solutions and plans. Our team works with the Navy and industry customers to design, build, deploy and maintain command, control, and security capability. The mission demands we deliver leading edge high reliability, high assurance, cyber-resilient systems. As the Chief Engineer, you will lead the segment technical strategies and captures, and hold final technical authority over the design, production, installation, and activation activities needed to satisfy the interface, activation, and operational requirements of the systems we deliver. | The Chief Engineer requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems, Computer Science or related technical field or the equivalent and at least 15 years of related leadership experience. Applicants with a Master's degree and a minimum of 13 years of related leadership experience are also eligible. Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire - active, transferable or able to obtain a TS clearance is required, while a TS/SCI clearance would be a benefit. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed in our facility, U.S. citizenship is required. | |
