Teaching Assistants (Multiple Positions Available)

• Clarksburg Elementary School – Clarksburg, MA
• Emma L. Miller Elementary School – Savoy, MA
• Rowe Elementary School – Rowe, MA

Job Description:
The North Berkshire School Union is seeking multiple Teaching Assistants for the 2026–2027 school year. Current openings are available at Clarksburg Elementary School, Emma L. Miller Elementary School, and Rowe Elementary School. These are Monday–Friday positions. Specific schedules, assignments, and responsibilities will be determined based on the needs of each school.

Duties:

• Assist classroom teachers with daily instructional and classroom activities.
• Support individual students and small groups in academic and social-emotional learning.
• Supervise students during recess, lunch, and other assigned times.
• Lead small-group instruction and enrichment activities.
• Assist with classroom preparation, organization, and student support.
• Serve as a building-based substitute teacher as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to pass all required background checks, including CORI, SORI, and fingerprinting.
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff.
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.
