School Cafeteria Assistant (Multiple Openings)
2026–2027 School Year

North Berkshire School Union is seeking multiple School Cafeteria Assistants for the 2026–2027 school year. Positions are part-time and follow the school calendar, Monday through Friday while school is in session. Current openings are anticipated at:

• Clarksburg Elementary School - Clarksaburg, MA
• Gabriel Abbott Memorial School - Florida, MA
• Rowe Elementary School - Rowe, MA

Responsibilities Include:

• Assist with food preparation and meal service
• Serve meals to students and staff
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, cafeteria, equipment, and work areas
• Wash dishes and assist with daily kitchen cleanup
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Work cooperatively with cafeteria staff, students, and school personnel
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Prior food service experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, organized, and able to work as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Requirements::

• Must pass all required background checks, including CORI and fingerprinting
• Must comply with all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements
