Miss Hall’s School seeks an enthusiastic Cook to create and grow within our food program.  The right candidate will have a proven commitment to the hospitality industry, a desire to learn and share fun food trends with our community.  Create Food that includes many cultures. Catering or high-volume cooking experience is helpful.  This is a 12-month position that includes a generous benefits package and paid time off. Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Prepare food according to standardized recipes and techniques
• Maintain kitchen organization and workflow
• Knowledge of cooking techniques including batch cooking, sauté, braising, sous vide, soups, stocks and sauces
• Experience with high volume kitchen
• Catering experience
• Fine dining experience
• Understand kitchen protocol
• Understanding of time management
• Ability to work well in a team
• ServSafe certification a plus
• Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion and to serving a diverse, global community

Pay range:  $19.50 - $21.00/ hour
