Collison Service Writer Description:
T&M Auto is growing and needs to add a qualified individual to join our team. We are looking for an individual with exceptional customer service skills, a strong attention to details, computer and financial software experience (QuickBooks and CCC preferred), strong team skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Determine automotive problems and services, compile insurance required paperwork.
Schedule appointments based on appropriate service needs and customer availability. Must be able to balance customer needs with shop availability.
Prepare repair orders (PO), order parts needed, track parts order, keep track of backordered parts.
Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle; obtaining customer’s approval of estimates; obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers; answering questions and concerns; arranging towing and rental car transportation.
Perform basic bookkeeping duties, to include entering vendor bills and credits, creation of customer invoices.
Operation of digital cash register system, including end of day close out.
5+ years collision service writer experience preferred
