The Pittsfield Public School District is seeking applicants for the role of Associate Director for Accounting and Finance.
Located at the Mercer Administration Building, this is a full-time, Monday through Friday, year-round position.

•Attention to Detail & Accuracy: Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all financial reporting and compliance requirements.
•Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex financial issues with creative and effective solutions.
•Financial Stewardship and Internal Controls: Deep knowledge of accounting practices (preferably Municipal and fund accounting), general ledger oversight, account reconciliations, audit coordination, and compliance with applicable state and federal regulations. Ability to maintain strong internal controls, ensure accuracy in a multi-fund environment, and manage complex reporting requirements.
