About Pine Cobble School

Pine Cobble School is a small all gender Beginners through Grade 8 independent school that embraces with open arms all races, ethnicities, and socioeconomic groups. The school’s goal is to offer academic skills and other learning opportunities in a supportive, community based atmosphere that allows our students to learn, explore, and thrive.

 Pine Cobble School is looking for enthusiastic and responsible day camp counselors for the Summer of 2026. Camp runs from June 22 through August 14, from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. The age range for campers is 3 years through 10+ years. We are focused on creating a meaningful summer experience where children can learn, grow and challenge themselves with the support of our dedicated staff.

 Job Summary

Pine Cobble School Camp Counselors are responsible for organizing, participating in, and leading camp activities throughout the day while creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment for campers. Counselors help build meaningful relationships, foster a positive camp culture, and create memorable experiences for every child. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate camp activities with enthusiasm, intention, and clarity.
  • Supervise and ensure the safety of campers at all times through active supervision.
  • Manage individual and group behavior using positive guidance and clear expectations
  • Foster an inclusive environment for all campers and staff.
  • Participate in outdoor play, water activities, and campus exploration as assigned.
  • Assist with daily camp set up, clean up and end-of-day responsibilities.
  • Be a positive role model for fellow staff and campers.
  • Communicate professionally and positively with families, coworkers and camp leadership.
  • Attend required staff training, orientation, and meetings.
