Housing Program Reviewer

Salary: $43,000–$47,000
Pittsfield, MA | Full Time

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Housing Program Reviewer to ensure resident files and program records meet all compliance requirements across our housing portfolio. This role partners closely with Occupancy Specialists to review, audit, and verify documentation for new move-ins, annual recertifications, interim changes, and eligibility determinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and audit all prospective move-in files for accuracy, eligibility, and completeness.

  • Audit interim and annual recertifications; submit correction requests and track to final approval.

  • Verify all required documentation, calculations, and income/asset information.

  • Maintain compliance data, track file status, and prepare reports as needed.

  • Ensure adherence to Tenant Selection Plans, funding-source regulations, and internal policies.

  • Maintain data integrity and support ongoing property compliance.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic internet applications.

  • Ability to interpret policies, follow established procedures, and communicate clearly with diverse populations.

  • Knowledge of basic math for rent and eligibility calculations.

  • Ability to prepare clear written reports.

  • Occupancy Specialist Certification required within one year of hire.

  • High school diploma/GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.

  • Human services or housing experience helpful but not required.

Work Environment
  • Office-based role with standard computer and administrative tasks.

  • Requires close visual acuity and the ability to walk short distances.

  • Light lifting (up to 10 lbs) and frequent hand/wrist motion.
