enant Relations Specialist (Direct Hire)
Salary: $55,000–$65,000/year (DOE)

Our Client is seeking a Tenant Relations Specialist to support a positive, compliant, and well-managed residential community. This role focuses on tenant communication, conflict resolution, rent collection, and regulatory compliance, while helping maintain the overall financial health of the property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect unpaid rent and maintenance fees; monitor tenant and subsidy receivables
  • Enforce lease terms and community guidelines, including issuing violations and notices
  • Mediate tenant concerns and resolve issues in a timely, professional manner
  • Conduct unit showings and manage move-in/move-out processes
  • Support annual recertifications and collaborate with Compliance on required documentation
  • Partner with Resident Services to support tenant needs and referrals
  • Attend court proceedings as needed
  • Perform weekly property site visits and report findings to Asset Management

Administrative & Operational Duties:

  • Maintain accurate reports (daily, weekly, monthly, annual)
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local housing regulations
  • Participate in staff meetings and cross-functional collaboration
  • Remain on-call for emergency situations (evenings/weekends)
  • Build strong working relationships across teams (Facilities, Resident Services, Compliance)

Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of experience in property management, real estate, or social services
  • Associate degree in Business, Social Services, or related field preferred
  • Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
