Experienced CNC Profiler / Machinist - Moldmaster Engineering Inc - Pittsfield

Position Overview

Moldmaster Engineering, we are a local mold-making and molding company, is seeking an experienced CNC Profiler / Machinist to join its team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating CNC machine tools, strong machining skills, and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality components.

Experience programming CNC equipment using Mastercam software is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machine tools for precision machining and profiling.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and machining specifications.
• Ensure finished components meet required dimensions and quality standards.
• Monitor machining operations to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify finished parts.
• Identify machining issues and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow established safety procedures and quality standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience as a CNC machinist, profiler, or in a similar machining role.
• Demonstrated ability to operate CNC machine tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Mastercam programming experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to producing quality work.

Position Details

• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Schedule: 40 hours per week
• Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour
