Five (5) years of experience or specialized training in vehicle engine repair and construction equipment maintenance - Preference: Preferred

The Town of Savoy Highway Department is seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position (40 hours/week) of Operator/Mechanic.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting inspections of vehicle systems- hydraulic, electrical, mechanical systems, including fuel lines
• Performing repairs and maintenance on Town vehicles and equipment
• Maintaining an equipment maintenance log and schedule
• Ensuring that all equipment is maintained in safe working condition. 

Duties will include:

• The servicing and maintenance of the entire vehicle fleet and equipment for the Town of Savoy. 
• Snow plowing will be required during the winter season.
