As a SWC CIPT System Engineer Senior Systems Lead (Sr Advanced Sys Engr) for the Common Infrastructure Product Team (CIPT) in our SWC Fire Control program, you’ll lead a cross functional team responsible for focusing on infrastructure techincal roadmapping, critical solution spaces, and support with a strong emphasis on Linux systems.. You will engage in various activities including requirements analysis, system design, and systems integration, contributing to the success of our projects and national security solutions.

Duties and Tasks:

  • Conduct requirements analysis, definition, management, and functional analysis for system elements with minimal supervision.
  • Perform technical planning, cost and risk analyses, and supportability and effectiveness analyses.
  • Develop and evaluate systems, networks, and information systems to ensure designs meet governmental security specifications.
  • Provide system accreditation/certification evaluation and test support to ensure technical security features function properly.
  • Lead Modeling and Simulation activities and contribute to detailed technical analyses at the system of system (SOS) level.
  • Research and analyze data to determine feasibility of design or application, and support technical engineering product generation throughout the system development life cycle.
  • Provide leadership and direction to lower-level employees and lead technical tasks for small teams or projects.
  • Participate in or lead Statement of Work (SOW) generation for subcontracts and exercise latitude in determining technical objectives of assignments.
  • Engage frequently with managers, project teams, external customers, and vendors to ensure successful project completion.

Workplace Options:
This position is On-site with opportunity to flex from site in future. 
While on-site, you will be a part of the Pittsfield, MA. 

Target salary range: USD $140,000.00/Yr. - USD $150,000.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time but preferred at at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
