Williamstown Elementary School is seeking a candidate to fill a long-term substitute elementary teaching position to cover temporarily in the absence of a full time faculty member. The duration of this assignment is anticipated to be at least twelve weeks as determined by the school Principal.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of teaching experience.
MA DESE Academic Teacher Certification is highly preferred.
Bachelor's or Master's Degree is highly desirable.

The grade level assignment for this position will be in Grade 1.

Mt. Greylock RSD's per-diem substitute teacher rates range from $120 to $210 per day depending on education and experience of the applicant. Long-Term substitute pay applies when an individual covers for the same position for 10+ days and that long-term rate of pay is $260 per day.

  • All offers of employment with Mount Greylock Regional School District are contingent upon satisfactory completion of the employment screening process to include SAFIS (CHRI) Federal and CORI State background check results.
