Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining inventory levels. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving processes, as well as proficiency in using various tools and equipment.

Compensation to commensurate with previous experience.

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming shipments by verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products for delivery.
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move heavy items safely within the warehouse.
  • Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving transactions.
  • Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Follow safety protocols to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving role is required.
  • Forklift and pallet jacks experience is required.
  • Experience with shipping carriers including UPS, Fed Ex and LTL.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage stock efficiently.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of fulfillment processes is an advantage.
