Job Summary
The Print Technician plays a vital role in the production and quality assurance of printed materials. This position involves operating printing equipment, ensuring high-quality output, and collaborating with design teams to meet project specifications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of print processes and be proficient in various design software, contributing to the overall success of print projects.

Salary to commensurate with experience.

Duties

  • Operate and maintain printing machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Fabricate and assemble printed materials based on project requirements.
  • Utilize precision cutting equipment and shaping of print components.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers to execute layout designs that align with client specifications.
  • Implement color management techniques to ensure accurate color reproduction across various print jobs.
  • Conduct quality control checks throughout the printing process to maintain high standards.
  • Manage inventory of printing supplies and materials, including inks and substrates.
  • Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and perform basic maintenance as needed.
  • Operate forklifts safely to transport materials within the production area.

This role requires a proactive individual who is passionate about print technology and committed to delivering exceptional results in every project undertaken.

Skills

  • Experience in printing and machining processes related to print production is preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail for quality control purposes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus but not mandatory.
