Retail Laborer - Duke's Lumber - North Adams

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide assistance with product selection.
• Stock shelves, organize inventory, and maintain store cleanliness.
• Load and unload deliveries, ensuring correct inventory placement.
• Ensure correct labeling, pricing, and merchandising of products.
• Follow safety protocols and report hazards or incidents.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 50 lbs).
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail or warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with hardware, lumber, or construction materials.
• Forklift certification or willingness to be trained and certified.
