Responsibilities:
Provide children exposed to domestic or sexual assault violence with support, advocacy, and assistance, including:
- Individual, group, and family counseling in a variety of settings
- Assessing and determining the counseling needs of children and teens and making appropriate referrals as necessary
- Working individually with a non-offending parent or guardian to foster positive parenting skills
- Aiding in providing crisis intervention, information, and referral to those who disclose personal or family abuse
- Outreach, communication, and coordination with outside agencies
- Attending regularly scheduled clinical and program supervision
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Maintain professional boundaries with individuals receiving EFC services, maintain excellent records in the agency database, and adhere to strict guidelines to ensure client confidentiality
Work Hours: 20 hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend work required for outreach and counseling activities

This position begins at $22.00 per hour plus a $1.00/hour increment for bilingual English/Spanish skills, and additional increments for frequently used languages, special skills, and education, plus year-end bonuses dependent on funding). EFC pays 85% of health insurance premiums and contributes to an FSA. EFC has generous paid leave as well as other benefits.
