Title I Private School Tutor
Job Requirements:
- Carries out all the responsibilities of an academic Title I teacher/tutor and assists the targeted student in the development of learning basic skills in reading and math.
- Assists in initial screening and benchmarking of students for identification and selection of targeted Title I groups
- Observes, progress monitors and assesses the student’s performance often and records data to track the performance
- Prepares instructional activities that aid in mastering specific academic skills.
- Maintains confidentiality of student information as required by law and district policies
- Communication required such as parent updates, family engagement activities with the school, and collaborating with private school teachers and HVRSD Title I Director.
- Overseeing the planning and implementation of targeted Title I programming with the tutor
- Participating in program evaluation, consultation meetings, and professional development
Teacher: Certified teacher candidates: $35 per hour
Tutor: Certified/Non-certified candidate with experience: $25 per hour
