Itinerant School Based CNA

The certified nursing assistant CNA in a school setting provides essential healthcare support to students and assist in promoting self safe and healthy school environment. This role involves working and collaborating with educational staff to ensure the well-being of students.

Ability to communicate with cooperating agencies in the field of school health, health providers students parents, and other school professionals; and to organize a health office and maintain and develop health records.

Assists school nurse with mandated screenings.  File and maintain student records.  Communicate with parents regarding health information under the direction of the school nurse.

Current MA CNA Certification 
High School diploma or equivalent 
Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment 
Experience working in a medical setting.
