EL Family Wrap Around Service Liaison

The EL Family Wrap Around Service Liaison will develop and implement a strength-based approach to family engagement by focusing on the development of a positive and affirming school culture. The liaison works to improve family experiences in the district by supporting family empowerment and partnering with a network of community partners to facilitate prompt access to the holistic needs of students.

This is a one-year non-bargaining grant-funded position that will end June 30, 2025.

This position is eligible for for insurance benefits.

• Experience with community agencies and supporting families; background in youth development, community organizing or related field
• Knowledge of supports and agencies that will support the district's English Learner (EL) families
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Ability to assist families with completing enrollment forms/applications
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability in working with cross-functional teams
• Ability to track, measure and monitor data to track effectiveness
• Ability to coordinate/conduct home visits and meetings to obtain information and/or discuss needs/problems involving students and families
