Child Care
The Pittsfield Public School District is seeking candidates for the position of elementary paraprofessional. Paraprofessionals assist teachers in the classroom with student monitoring and small group instruction.
Benefits include paid sick, personal and vacation days as well as health, dental and life insurance.
Experience working with young children in a diverse, urban educational setting, teaching small groups and working with students who require academic and social/emotional assistance is preferred.
Associates degree preferred
Ability to work in a collaborative teaching and learning environment and have a continuous learning mindset; strong communication and behavior management skills
