Job Summary: The Government Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales of new and used model Lenco BearCats to County and Local Law Enforcement, as well as Fire Departments and EMS Agencies throughout the United States. Daily responsibilities include following up with email and phone leads, providing technical specifications, creating vehicle quotations and follow up; as necessary. Primary customer communication is via email and phone, with 15-20 trade shows (pre-COVID) and customer demonstrations annually. The Government Sales Representative is also responsible for supporting customer visits to Lenco’s primary manufacturing facility in Pittsfield, MA. | |

Key Government Sales Responsibilities: • Field incoming leads from US County and Local Law Enforcement, Fire Departments and EMS Agencies • Provide technical specifications, price quotations and competitive justifications • Input all communications in Lenco’s CRM database • Follow Government Tender / Bid requirements, and provide project management in their submission • Coordinate with Contracting and Compliance Department to ensure Lenco Terms and Conditions are met throughout sales process • Participate in 15 - 20 trade shows (pre-COVID) annually • Support Factory Tours and Product Demonstrations • Follow-up with existing leads to grow sales in County and Local Law Enforcement • Identify and establish new clients to add to Lenco's customer base in Fire and EMS Agencies Additional Job Responsibilities • Adhere to and carry out existing work practices, procedures and policies • Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelines where appropriate • Understand and comply with safety and environmental policies • Other duties as assigned Key Position Requirements: • 10+ years in sales required • 5+ Years in US Government sales preferred • Strong communication skills • Strong technical and automotive skills • Bachelor’s Degree Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Excellent listening skills • Excellent written communication skills • Ability to provide clear, concise, and accurate instructions • Ability to conduct research and interpret engineering drawings • Ability to collaborate interdepartmentally • Ability to multitask and manage multiple assignments accurately and efficiently • Follow safety and materials policies and procedures • Attention to detail |
