Sales and Service company, specializing in appliance sales and repair. Also, an electrical contractor with commercial and residential clients throughout the Berkshires is looking for a part-time Administrative Assistant This position will run all summer, until the end of August. The Administrative Assistant will be the first point of contact for all customers calling contacting the business over phone, email, or in person. Will provide customer service to both the retail sales and technical services departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting customers as they enter the retail shop
  • Answering phones and screening calls, ensuring calls and messages get to the correct team member
  • Answering customer questions and resolving issues
  • Gain knowledge of products, parts and services in order to provide top not customer service
  • Work with Technicians to ensure client needs are addressed and resolved in a timely manner
  • Assist customers with returns, warranties, and repairs
  • Follow up with inquiries regarding the sale of products or scheduling of services-monitors the voicemail and general email inbox
  • Previous Customer Service experience is a must
  • Strong knowledge of basic computer programs, such as MS Office Suite
  • Excellent phone etiquette
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both colleagues and clients
  • Previous experience in an office environment
